Scarce Inscribed Aleksey Tolstoy 1943 1st edition

From Wikipedia:
The Road to Calvary (Russian: Хождение по мукам, romanized: Khozhdeniye po mukam, lit. 'Walking Through Torments'), also translated as Ordeal, is a trilogy of novels by Aleksey Nikolayevich Tolstoy, tracing the fate of the Russian intelligentsia on the eve of, during, and after the revolution of 1917. It consists of the novels Sisters (1918–1922; «Сёстры»), The Eighteenth Year (1927–1928; «Восемнадцатый год») and Gloomy Morning (1940–1941; «Хмурое утро»). The first part was written for the émigré readers, while the rest was written as a work of Socialist realism.

This is a rare 1st edition of the trilogy, in Russian, published in 1943.  It is in the original binding, a brown cloth spine on beige, paper-covered boards with orange titles and designs on the spine and printed titles on a dark brown background on the front cover.  Minor wear and soiling. The rear hinge is cracked, and binding is loose, but holding.  Text is age darkened somewhat, given the poor wartime quality of the paper.  It is inscribed by the author, in Russian, on the front free endpaper and dated in the year of publication.  452 pp.

Using an AI translation, (since I don't read Russian), it says
"Accept from me, Dear Friend, a heartfelt friendly greeting and admiration for your talent. Alexei Tolstoy 5 July 1943 Moscow"
This original Russian first edition is quite uncommon, and signed, it appears to be unique in the market.
