Exceptional Archive of The Times (of London) - Signed by Multiple Notables

This is a possibly unique archive covering the history and development of The Times (i.e. the Times of London to US readers), one of the oldest and most respected newspapers in the world. The volumes cover the paper's history from its founding in 1785 into the 1950's, apparently collected by a longtime Times employee, a Miss K. Watkins. But beyond the historical volumes, 4 of the 5 volumes are signed by several of the most important Times personages of the early and mid-20th century, including John Jacob Astor, (the Times owner 1922-59), John Walter IV, whose ancestor founded the Times, Geoffrey Dawson, (Editor 1912-19 and 192-41), Robert Benington-Ward (Editor 1941-48), Christopher S. Kent (Manager of the Times 1937-49), and Stanley Morison, (chief typographer 1923-67 and creator of the New Times Roman font).
